Muskingum County Auditor Tina Huebner is excited to invite local children to participate in the 2025 Dog License Coloring Contest! This fun and creative contest helps raise awareness about the importance of dog licensing in our community.
How to Enter: Download and print the official coloring page.
Deadline: All entries must be received by Wednesday, November 26, 2025.
How to Submit: Choose one of the following options to return your completed picture:
- By Mail: Muskingum County Auditor, 401 Main Street, Zanesville, OH 43701
- In Person: Drop your artwork at our office at the Muskingum County Courthouse
- By Email: Send a scanned copy to doglicenses@muskingumcounty.org
Eligibility: The contest is open to children in Pre-K through 12th grade who reside in Muskingum County. There will be one winner selected from each of the following age groups:
- Pre-K to 2nd Grade
- 3rd to 6th Grade
- 7th to 12th Grade
Prize: Each winner will receive a free 2025 dog license and a small basket of goodies! Winners will be notified on December 5, 2025.
Display: All submitted artwork will be displayed at the Muskingum County Courthouse throughout dog license season, serving as a reminder of how important it is to license our pets.
Why it Matters: Dog licenses help protect our pets and support valuable community resources. All dogs three months and older must be licensed each year between December 1 and January 31. Licensing confirms legal ownership and provides the Dog Warden with owner contact info if a pet is lost.
