There are currently four methods to renew/purchase your 2026 Muskingum County Dog License:
- Online: Purchase your 2026 Dog License online at https://www.doglicenses.us/OH/Muskingum/. Online purchases include a processing fee and a shipping and handling fee.
- By Mail: Purchase your 2026 Dog License by completing a blank application. Return it with check or money order AND a self-addressed stamped envelope to the Muskingum County Auditor’s Office located at 401 Main Street, Zanesville, OH 43701. Your 2026 tags and receipt will be mailed to you.
- In Person - Auditor's Office: Purchase your 2026 Dog License in person at the Muskingum County Auditor’s Office located at 401 Main St. (CASH OR CHECK ONLY)
- In Person - K9 Adoption Center: Purchase your 2026 Dog License at the Muskingum County K9 Adoption Center located at 1854 East Pike.
Please note that Dog Licenses are no longer sold at the Animal Shelter.
